Vol'jin becoming warchief was one of my favorite Warcraft moments. Then Legion, BfA, and SL happened. Now this cinematic just feels so empty.

Here we see wasted potential. Neither Vol'jin nor Varian did anything of note in WoD, and then they both died during the intro to Legion. Instead, we got the lame drama of Sylvanas. Sigh...

I first saw this Cinematic without the "Horde exclusive" part where vol'jin gets nominated as new warchief. That Moment when the Orc Soldiers move aside......jesus christ, that reveal was and still is my absolute highlight. Vol'Jin is f*cking awsome. I will curse Blizz for the rest of my life, for what they did to him.

A few years later the Horde fails to uphold honor as Garrosh did, but we have fucking Anduin as king, so nobody fucking does anything about it.

So...why does Varian get to speak for the _entire_ Alliance? They're not the fucking Horde. He can call himself High King all he wants but he ain't king of shit if that shit isn't _human_ . That's one of the biggest problems with Varian's entire deal. He's like if the Horde was allowed to focus group the biggest new Alliance NPC is the game. "Oh they TOTALLY NEED A WARCHIEF! Give him SCARS! And he's A FURY WARRIOR! And he's in charge of EVERYBODY FUCK YEAH LOK'TAR O'GAR!" Varian actively made the entire fucking setting dumber and even gone it's now Anduin's turn. An expansion that begins with the attempted extermination of the Night Elves promptly swerves and becomes about fucking Jaina's mommy drama instead of having anything to do with the fucking inciting event that itself is design to summon maximum outrage from Alliance players. Tyrande squats in Stormwind with a stool up her ass and Malf vanishes back into the closet while the Zandalari burn the town down. The Alliance isn't doing shit that isn't reacting to the devs making U MAD BRO faces while they suck Horde dick so hard their asshole whistles. Christ this game's tried so hard over the years to make me hate it. And it's slowly succeeding. I cannot hate this shit enough but I can't escape having to try.

Varian was such a bad ass man. I like andiun now that he's grown a pair but he's definitally not his father no one could ever be. RIP Varian Wrynn, Ghost Wolf.
